Our speaker will be Todd Shamel from the North Carolina Coastal Conservation Association (CCANC). Todd is the assistant director for the western region of North Carolina. They are by far our biggest advocate as recreational fishermen.
Todd will be speaking specifically about what is going on with the North Carolina Department of Marine Fisheries, and the accomplishments CCANC has been able to achieve over the years in working with them.
This will be a most informative meeting regarding the progress of recreational fishing and the direction we are headed for the future in North Carolina.
In addition we will have a second speaker, Will Cathey, who will talk about the upcoming season of striped bass fishing on the Roanoke River.
Don’t miss this one!
